3 Easy Ways to Remove Negative Energy in your Life.

1. Substitute negative self talk with positive affirmations.
The power of positive affirmations is something I believe is not emphasized enough. I am sure you have heard of manifestation before, you know the saying speak it into existence. Well I'm here to tell you it's true. Speaking negativity, whining, and complaining will only cause you to hyper focus on negative aspects in your life and in return cause you to feel down and uncharged. Affirming positive statements such as "I will have a productive day, I am successful, and I will have positive relationships with others" is bound to become your reality because you will approach situations with your best foot forward. Easier said then done, but it never hurts to try.
2. Burn some sage in your home, and around special personal belongings.
Disclaimer: PLEASE DON'T GO BURNING DOWN YOUR HOME!! If your under 18 ask for parental assistance. Anyway now that we have established that, I want to share with you the power of sage. Burned sage has been used by Native Americans and other indigenous peoples for centuries as part of a spiritual ritual to cleanse a person or space, and to promote healing and wisdom. Whether you are moving into a new home, introducing a new baby to your home, had a recent negative experience, or change in your life; sage should be your go to. I love sage because it can be used in so many ways and it is affordable. Personally, I like to purchase some smudge sticks or wands that I can burn and have the smell of sage travel around my home. I like to have a door or window open so the smell is not too overpowering, a little goes a long way. Ignite one end of the wand over a fireproof dish, on a heat-tolerant surface. Once the flame is established, gently blow out the flame. The wand should be smoldering with no visible flame. Proceed with smudging. Extinguish completely.

3. Prayer to your higher power.
Prayer and meditation is an amazing way to remove the negativity/ toxicity in one's life. Asking a higher power for clarity, peace, and looking within yourself to pinpoint the cause of any stressors or despair is a beautiful way to heal and evaluate what/ who is beneficial or detrimental to your growth.
